Programming: Food Network Caters Your Wedding
Goal:
Allow viewers to interact with Food Network and receive instant gratification with on–air recognition.
Solution:
Food Network, utilizing Motricity's Campaign Manager, prompted viewers to text in messages to their loved ones during the Food Network Caters Your Wedding special episode. Using the lower third of the screen, viewers were provided the code and instructions on how to get their message on-air. The messages then flowed continuously throughout the remainder of the program.
Technology:
Motricity's Campaign Manager allowed Food Network to have direct integration with the broadcast center and was tied to the program play list and DekoCast. Using the Message Monitor, Food Network producers monitored all incoming messages, chose the most appropriate messages to air, edited the text as needed and pushed them live, on-air.
